Customs publishes our latest cargo clearance study

The New Zealand Customs Service has published its latest Time Release Study (TRS), which looks at how quickly imports and exports are cleared in New Zealand.

Customs catches five methamphetamine couriers in just over a week

Customs has arrested five drug couriers in relation to three separate methamphetamine seizures at Auckland International Airport in just over a week. A total of 51 kilograms of methamphetamine was seized, worth approximately NZ$15.2 million.

Customs welcomes Tongan and Samoan Customs Officers

We are pleased to welcome two Customs officers from Samoa’s Ministry of Customs and Revenue and one from the Ministry of Revenue and Customs, Tonga who have joined our Customs Trainee Officer induction programme this November, during which they will be trained in border legislation and various practical and investigative skills.
